The 4th Annual Adventure Family Meet Up is just about one month away! I’m really excited to be working with @trailmothers ag..
My third post for Family Trails is live. A compilation of our last few years of camping up in Rock Creek Valley at the East Fork Campground in the Inyo Forest.
My second post for Family Trails is live. Recapping our day riding, hiking, and fishing along the West Fork Trail near the Cogswell Dam off Hwy 39 above Asuza.
In mid-February, we spent a weekend in Lone Pine exploring the Alabama Hills Recreation Area and hiking in nearby Onion Valley. The surrounding area is beautiful, with soaring peaks, mountain lakes, rolling hills, and desert flats. There are endless opportunities for adventure.
Big Sur is everything they say it, and more. We had a blast during our four-day camping trip there. Kirk Creek Campground was perfect. My only regret is that it took me so long to go see it for the first time. Can’t wait to get back.
A day trip to Mt Baldy is more than the typical day trip “hike” into the mountains that surround Los Angeles. There’s a visitor center, a ski lift, hikes to 8,500-10,000 ft elevations, 360 degree views, and a lodge on the mountain to sit for lunch. It’s a real adventure.
Eaton Canyon is more than just a walk in the woods. An easy hike and a nature center with live critters on display, make this a fun and informative half-day outdoor adventure for families. This is my go-to day trip with the kids.
SAVE THE DATE! The 2nd Annual Adventure Family Camping Weekend Meet Up is July 14-16 this year! McGill Campground, Los Padres National Forest.
Hi Everyone! Our adventure family meet up is just a few weeks away! I’m really excited, and a bit nervous!
