In mid-February, we spent a weekend in Lone Pine exploring the Alabama Hills Recreation Area and hiking in nearby Onion Valley. The surrounding area is beautiful, with soaring peaks, mountain lakes, rolling hills, and desert flats. There are endless opportunities for adventure.
Big Sur Camping, Kirk Creek
Big Sur is everything they say it, and more. We had a blast during our four-day camping trip there. Kirk Creek Campground was perfect. My only regret is that it took me so long to go see it for the first time. Can’t wait to get back.
