Blogging for FamilyTrails.com Launch

I’m excited to share that I was invited to participate in a great new project sponsored by Toyota Family Learning and the National Center for Families Learning (NCFL), called Family Trails.

Family Trails was founded with the belief that family is the best teacher your child will ever have – and the world around us is the ultimate classroom. Its goal is to encourage family learning through adventure and exploration, which is exactly why I started Day Trips L.A.

NCFL supports families learning together, bridging the gap in education that often exists between school, home, and community. I’ve joined with some other great family bloggers to create the first batch of content for the launch of FamilyTrails.com. On the site you’ll find stories to inspire parents and kids to let imagination and exploration lead them on a daily adventure through the world around them and the classroom of life.

The website just launched, and my first post about Exploring Crystal Cove in Newport Beach was published last night.

If family adventures are your thing, I encourage you to check out FamilyTrails.com and also follow them on Instagram.
